Is there anyone who can't get electrolysis?
There are some medical conditions that will need a doctors note for approval & special considerations.
Diabetes, Pacemakers, hemophilia & heart conditions. In addition, if you are actively taking prescribed medicines, please us know so we make sure they’re not contraindications.
Does it hurt?
Our goal is to make it comfortable enough for you to come back! Pain is not something one typically feel. However, different body parts are more sensitive than others. We have some that squirm a little and others that fall asleep during the process!
How long does this process take?
Ah yes. This is the most common question. There are many factors that influence the answer to this question. Have you previously tweezed or waxed? Do you have an underlying hormonal imbalance? How often will be be able to come? We are happy to explain and have a conversation with you. Regardless, electrolysis works!
What will my skin look like after a treatment?
Everybody is different. However, temporary redness, swelling and possible pinpoint scabs are a natural part of the healing process. Reactions can last between 2 hours to 48 hours.
Is electrolysis really permanent for all hair types?
Yes! Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal, and it works on all hair colors and skin tones—including blonde, red, gray, and dark hair.
Is there anything I should do to help the process?
Hydrate! When your body isn't dehydrated, the hair becomes brittle and sticky. They become can be stubborn to treat. Hydration also helps with the occasional discomfort. In addition to hydration, exfoliation is super helpful! It keeps debris out of the follicles therefore giving clear access for the probe and it's treatment.
